There are so many different reptiles that one can keep as pets, and each one of them deserves the proper care and loving attention. So before bringing home a reptile of any kind, shape, or form, you will want to do as much research as possible, to ensure the longevity of the reptile.

Although, leopard geckos are one of the best beginner reptiles, they need their share of proper care and attention. By understanding how to fully and 100% positively understanding how to take care of thie species, one can raise a leopard gecko to leave an average of 10 - 15 years or more.But, you must know how to properly take care of a leopard gecko before you even think about bringing one into your home. Read up as much as you can- online care sheets and leopard gecko books. I suggest you read everything. Then make sure that you know what you're getting before you bring it home. Don't pick out a dud, so to speak.

Leopard geckos make great pets. Why? Because they're small, docile, and come in a TON of colors and patterns- I.E. morphs. You can pick and choose your favorites, whether it be a bright Super Hypo Tangerine...
