NASCAR's top national series will make its 2008 debut at Richmond Raceway on Saturday, May 3, when The Crown Royal 400 NASCAR Series race runs 'under the lights.'
Richmond Raceway will host the final Race before The Chase for the championship for the fifth consecutive year. The 2008 Chevy Rock & Roll 400-scheduled for Saturday, September 6-will set the field for next year's Chase for the NASCAR Cup.

The Martinsville Race Track covers over 340 acres and has a seating capacity of 65,000. At slightly more than half a mile, Martinsville Race Track is the shortest track on the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Circuit.

The Talladega Track, also known as the Talladega Superspeedway, is the biggest, fastest, most competitive race car track facility in the world. Records for both speed and competition have been established at the Talladega track.
The Talladega track is my favorite of all tracks, as it is just a hop and skip away from my sister who lives in Alabama.

Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol Tennessee is known as the 'World's Fastest Half Mile,' with a 0.533-mile concrete oval, 36 degree banking in corners, and 16 degrees banking in the straights. The Bristol Motor Speedway consists of 100 acres.

The Atlanta Race Track is located 25 miles south of downtown Atlanta on Highways 19 & 41, near Hampton, Ga . The Atlanta track was built in 1960 and seats 124,000. One of the country's top sports facility is situated on 870 acres, with an infield of 120 acres.

The Daytona 500 is the biggest, richest and most prestigious race in America. Daytona International Speedway is a 2.5-mile trioval that's 40 feet wide with a 12 to 30 foot apron. The infield takes up 180 acres with a 29-acre lake. The Daytona Speedway consists of 480 acres total.
Although the Daytona 500 garners most of the attention, the Daytona Speedway boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, earning the 'World Center of Racing' title.

Darlington Raceway is known as the "The Lady In Black". The walls there may start out white, but after a race, and after all the drivers have gotten their "Darlington Stripe", they will be black. Check out more great NASCAR information here.

California Speedway in Fontana, California was built on the site of the junked Kaiser Steel Mill. Which is also the site the "The Terminator" movie was filmed at. If you're looking for more great NASCAR information, check it out here.
