Although London used to be the prime buying place for antiques, regional and suburban Antiques Fairs have now taken over as major buying places of interest.Getting around London is fairly easy by Tube (underground) or Bus. Unlimited travel passes are available at tube stations. Taxis are reasonably priced and always have a working meter.You can stay in London in Travel Lodge hotels at reasonable prices (bargains in Winter and early Spring) When Antiques shopping in London you will almost always have to pay Cash in Sterling and it is sensible to wear comfortable shoes as many streets are still cobblestones - especially in markets.Please note that his page changes DAILY and it would be sensible to bookmark it to avoid missing a bargain !

Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show 'Wells Fargo Deadwood Stage' event featured John Y Nelson sporting a pair of engraved Colt Peacemakers. This article contains the story of how these guns came to England where they were photographed. There are many stories on the Internet about Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show but none (that I have found) tell about John Y Nelson and his superb pair of engraved Colt Peacemakers, up until now that is.
