Vampires are one of the most mysterious of the mythological lore. There are different variations of the vampire throughout the different cultures. In today's society, we have somewhat glorified the blood sucking creature that is.We're made movies and written books surrounding them. Bram Stoker's Dracula, is one of the more famous vampire books. It uses Vlad Tepes as a base, with his horrific history of ruthless murder.Anne Rice has written several vampire lore stories to inlcude Queen of the Damned and Interview with a Vampire that have been made into movies. She has her Vampire Cronicles, as well.Vampires are, also, a popular Halloween costume. Sexy vampires, gothic, historic, and victorian vampires, alike.
