Learn how to write a Condolence Letter for a friend or in a professional setting.
Finding the right words to write a condolence letter or sympathy note may be challenging, yet the benefits can be immeasurable. A well-written, heart-felt condolence letter is a show of your support and sympathy for the person grieving the death of a loved one.
Condolence letters are also important in professional settings such as the business world and with physicians and veterinarians.
There may be times and circumstances when you would like to express your sympathy in a short condolence note or send a beautiful card to send with a note instead of a writing out a longer formal condolence letter.
Taking a bit of time to write a condolence note or condolence letter can be a great source of comfort and provide a gift of healing for a friend or a loved one who is grieving a loss.
I started carving pumpkins by myself when I was in middle school. I remember taking my time to get it just right and being so proud of my work. In 8th grade I entered a Jack-o-lantern contest at school and won! One of my teachers liked it so much he asked to bring it home. It was a carving of a cat's face. It took a while to complete but with a pattern and the right tools it wasn't all that hard to make. I let him take it and then I made another one for my house. :)The pumpkin in the intro photo is a unicorn carving. My daughter was dressing up as a unicorn for Halloween and wanted our pumpkin to match. I guess it's a cross between a pegasus and a unicorn, since it has wings. ;) Hopefully this lens will give you ideas for this Halloween. I'll be adding tips, tools and patterns to help you carve your Jack-o-lantern.
