Hey all! As a parent of two little girls and uncle to several other little ones, I thought it was time to try and give back a bit. I’m always concerned about my children playing with safe toys and with all the toy recalls, I’m even more worried than usual. I’m going to use this forum to do the following: 1) Write about cool, safe toys for kids... 2) Write about the toy recalls and what you should do... Pretty simple, right? Well, let’s get started!

Here you'll find an assortment of funny, off-beat t-shirts to share with the world! My designs tend to have a dry or wry sense of humor as I view things with a sarcastic or skeptical approach to life. But don't let that put you off... I also have two children and 4 pets at home, which makes my life oh so interesting (as I'm sure ALL parents and pet owners can attest). The designs reflect my impressions of the world... from roleplaying and computer humor to parenting and pet owner humor, I run the gamut. :)

Hi all! Yes, Fitzy likes movies. Always has. He especially likes to watch them in the theater. But with a family, work, and everything else, sometimes that's not possible, so he settles for DVDs too. This lens will focus on some of his favorite movies and even some movie news!

Making rhythm and rhyme a part of your child's life will have a tremendous impact on your child's speech, literacy, reasoning, physical, emotional, and social development. Simply introducing your child to preschool songs, preschool poems, and nursery rhymes can have a lasting impact on the way your child learns and develops.

A page devoted to one of my favorite shows for children - Oswald! This creative cartoon stretches the imagination and is fun to watch, but won't wind up the kiddos.

Parody is one of the sincerest forms of flattery and one of the funniest forms of comedy. Sesame Street took it to an 'art' form on several levels with Monsterpiece Theater. Designed as a play on the PBS classic Masterpiece Theater, it was hosted by Alistair Cookie, his poor grammar and jiggling eyes belying the purported serious elegance. The sketches played off classic works of literature as well as more modern television and movie favorites. And, as always with Sesame Street, there was danger of learning something about numbers, spatial relations and social concepts all while laughing your head off. (Which can make it difficult to store your new knowledge!)
