Why Menu Planning? Not being the most organized person on this planet it was quite difficult for me to become a mother - well not that part ;-) but to have a child that just had to have healthy food several times a day was a big challenge for me. I am proud to say I succeeded. It was done by planning the meals not a week ahead but one month ahead - and shopping once a week only. A new membership site has just started: Menu Planning Central - a site I would have saved me time and thousands of dollars, but the Internet was not in Denmark at that time. By mistake my tara brooch ended in the washing machine - a really bad idea! One of the stones is now missing. In my - long - search for a similar I discovered many talented designers. If you are fashion-conscious culinary speaking, you forget all about red steaks and other expensive cuts - or save them for the BBQ season. Simmer food is hot - both among the chefs and at home.

Classic simmer meals are quite commen in the winter time, we all like a winter warming casserol - don't we? .

If you do a Google on Coq au vin, Boeuf Bourguigonne, Daubre Provencal, Cassoulet, Spezzatine e.a. you'll find those fast and easily.

This lens is abot the basic technique, so you can make your own and work on them.

I have added one of my own winter casserole recipes, so you can see how easy it is.

4. Holidays in Malta

I am a Dane and in the winter I escape to warmer places from our dark and cold weather. In January 2007 I went to Malta - this lens tells a little about this wonderful place.One of the surprises there was The Popeye Village - The Movie set is still there. We were also able to do a small cruise around the islands. Enjoy!
