For those of us who live in Ohio, being a Buckeyes fan is serious business. We travel from far and near to attend games, and when the games are on at home, all focus is on the TV.
And almost as important as watching the game, is having all of the team merchandise to wear, to drink in, and to give to your clientele and employees as gifts. So if you want what is available in the marketplace, read this lens.

You've spent a lot of time and effort decorating your child's bedroom and playroom to create a colorful, warm, and loving environment for them to grow up in.
You''ve had fun picking out the colors and designs to stimulate your child's growth and spark their imagination.
Now it just needs the finishing touch to make it complete. Something designed with your child in mind. Something sweet, or funny, maybe an animal design or a pink ballerina.

There once lived a man and his wife, who had long wished for a child, but in vain. Now there was at the back of their house a little window which overlooked a beautiful garden full of the finest vegetables and flowers; but there was a high wall all round it, and no one ventured into it, for it belonged to a witch of great might, and of whom all the world was afraid. One day that the wife was standing at the window, and looking into the garden, she saw a bed filled with the finest rampion; and it looked so fresh and green that she began to wish for some; and at length she longed for it greatly. This went on for days, and as she knew she could not get the rampion, she pined away, and grew pale and miserable. Then the man was uneasy, and asked, "What is the matter, dear wife?"

This holiday gift guide is an eclectic mix of unusual, unique, and one-of-a-kind gifts.
I have chosen these particular gifts because they are not the kind of thing that you can find just anywhere, nor would they necessarily be the first thing a sales clerk would suggest.
Some of them are made by hand, some of them are books on interesting topics, and some are found in out of the way places.
I have also given you links and leads to other places to look for interesting gifts for yourself, your acquainances, and your loved ones.
As you browse this lens, imagine yourself stepping into the doorway of a quaint little shop just packed to the brims with gifts of all sizes and shapes just waiting to be wrapped up and taken home.!

Every religion has its rituals and traditions, and that is true of Chanukah as well. In our family, we light the Chanukah candles each night of Chanukah, eat our dinner, then after dinner we play the game of dreidel.
Dreidel is a traditional Chanukah game that can be played by all members of the family, young to old. It is very simple to play and is a perfect fun way to celebrate the holiday, create family memories, and strengthen your children's Jewish identities.

Those of you who do not live in a climate that gets cold in the winter, are missing one of life's perfect joys, a cup of steaming hot cocoa in the icy cold weather.
The feeling of comfort and warmth from drinking a simple cup of steamy chocolate is something that truly must be experienced to understand.
Much of it stems from our linking warmth, chocolate, and food with our mothers as children, yet that doesn't take away the enjoyment.
So come with me as I take a journey through the world of comforting, tummy warming, soothing hot cocoa.

I began my journey into watercolor about 5 years ago, after being a jewelry artist for over 10 years. I wanted to explore the wonderful colors but had absolutely no experience with painting. Little did I know that watercolor is considered the most difficult paint technique.
Since I had already started working with the watercolors, I decided to continue. And I found out that I loved it. I love the look of the paint, and I loved mixing my own colors.

Norway is a ruggedly beautiful country of mountains, fjords and glaciers. The 'Land of the Midnight Sun' has delightfully long summer days, pleasantly low-key cities, unspoiled fishing villages and rich historic sites that include Viking ships and medieval stave churches.
Norway prizes its stunning natural wonders and retains a robust frontier character unusual in Europe. It's not all frozen tundra, either. The temperate south includes rolling farmlands, enchanted forests and sunny beaches as well as the dramatic Western Fjords.

Chanukah is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. I think that I like it so much because I always associate it with family, warmth, and good food. Of course, in our family, it is also a time to exchange presents which is fun in itself.

A couple of years ago, I was introduced to someone who baked biscotti. I loved the idea of the italian biscotti cookie that she was making, but thought I could do better. So I started to research biscotti cookie recipes.
What I learned was that there aren't a lot of biscotti recipes available and I wanted to try to bake more variations. So I started making up my own recipes by adding and subtracting different ingredients.

Visiting family this Thanksgiving? If so, you need to know that the rules for travel are changing rapidly, and every airline has different regulations.
The most important thing is to check with your airline when you make your reservation and again, right before you fly, to check for hidden fees and new rules of what can go onboard with you, and what needs to go in the luggage compartment.

Networking has become a buzzword over the last several years. There are networking events all over for business people. And we have all been introduced to the social networking online.
Networking is an essential skill for most business people, but especially for entrepreneurs. The strong association between the entrepreneur as a person and his or her business demands that entrepreneurs get out into the world and create and maintain business relationships.
Networking is not selling, so how can you tell the difference? What is it all about really?

Amber is fossil tree resin, which is appreciated for its color and beauty. Good quality amber is used for the manufacture of ornamental objects and jewelery. Although not mineralized, it is often classified as a gemstone.
A common misconception is that amber is made of tree sap; it is not. Sap is the fluid that circulates through a plant's vascular system, while resin is the semi-solid amorphous organic substance secreted in pockets and canals through epithelial cells of the plant.

There is something so beautiful about a lighthouse. I am not even sure what it is.
Could it be the history behind them?
Or the way they stand out solid and true on the rocky shoreline?
A Beacon of Light, of hope, a true sign of safety to those that risk their lives on our seas.

Blessed with a spectacular Pacific Rim location, Vancouver is a study in contrasts and cohesion. Set between the mountains and the sea, the city blends cultures and landscapes, allowing visitors to enjoy a modern, cosmopolitan city alongside the great outdoors. You could spend all weekend exploring Stanley Park, but you don't want to miss the panoramic vistas from the Capilano Bridge or the Sea to Sky Highway, or the opportunity to ski or explore a mountain trail.
