Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. For me, it is a time to see my family in a relaxed atmosphere, for an entire weekend. And part of that atmosphere is created by the great meals that we eat.
I need to confess that I do have a bias related to Thanksgiving meals. First of all, I love turkey. We roast our turkey, and it is scrumptious--hot, juicy and full of flavor.

I began my journey into watercolor about 5 years ago, after being a jewelry artist for over 10 years. I wanted to explore the wonderful colors but had absolutely no experience with painting. Little did I know that watercolor is considered the most difficult paint technique.
Since I had already started working with the watercolors, I decided to continue. And I found out that I loved it. I love the look of the paint, and I loved mixing my own colors.

When I was a child, my mother would hand sew and personalize our Christmas stockings. She loved to add her personal touch to our Christmas stockings. She would sew a new one for each of us every year.
Mom would find special nice Christmas material and create a pattern to cut out for each stocking. Once they were finished, she would embroider each of our names onto a stocking.

A couple of years ago, I was introduced to someone who baked biscotti. I loved the idea of the italian biscotti cookie that she was making, but thought I could do better. So I started to research biscotti cookie recipes.
