These days our pets are considered to be part of the family, we buy them cool pet toys and gifts as much as we buy presents for our other relations....

Yorkshire Pudding is not a pudding at all. It's a plain batter pudding served with the savoury part of a meal. It is thought to originate, as its name suggests, from Yorkshire in the North of England. It is similar to Popovers, but it's not meant to rise as high or be as airy. Like all things simple and homey, though, Yorkshire Pudding is the subject of much debate. People like it the way they like it.
This site shows you how to make them and throws in some fun facts too.

Front door knockers add style and interest to your entrance, and they're a great way to give that little bit of individuality to your home.
The addition of a door knocker decoration to a front door is the statement to the world about who you are and who lives in the house.
Unique door knockers are an ideal gift for a newly married couple or the new homeowner.
There is a huge range of door knockers to choose from ranging from contemporary door knockers to antique door knockers, I try to showcase a few here.... perhaps there is one to suit your style.

This Squidoo lens aims to show what great pets greyhounds make, if you are looking for a new pet dog then a retired racing greyhound could be the answer.
We also try to raise awareness of the treatment that some greyhounds bred for racing receive and question as to whether the sport of Greyhound Racing should be banned.

Great Danes are the true gentle giants. Where the small breed dogs believe they are much larger than they are, most Danes, believe they are mush smaller. Many Great Danes are nothing more than lap dogs, or at least think they are.Great Danes tend to be the Beta in the Alpha-Beta dog roles, but as with everything else, there are exceptions to the rules. And, just because they are such a large dog, it doesn't mean that they are outside dogs. These dogs are actually much better inside dogs, as they have thin coats that cannot keep them warm in the cooler months, or at night. So unless, you can provide a heated dog house, you may want to dog proof the bathroom, utility room, or kitchen. Or just let him on the couch. ;-)

I was never really the biggest fan of Daschunds, although, I never really had much interaction with many, either. The only real thing I knew about the breed was that because of their long backs they shouldn't be allowed to jump on and off things, such as the couch or a bed. But, after I met this extremely overweight, miniature daschund named Bo, my mind was changed. Well, as I never really had an opinion about the breed, we'll say my mind was made up. Although, I wouldn't call it one of my favorite breeds, as that has been predetermined for years, but the breed is up there. I hold it in high regard, as a breed may go.

The Chihuahua is considered the smallest dog.The AKC claims the dog to be graceful, alert, swift-moving with a saucy expression. The dog is compact, and had many terrier-like qualities in regard to temperament. They require a good deal of training and socialization, and aren't the best pet for people with young children.

Small dogs can be trained to use a litter box. They are actually great candidates for litter boxes because they have small bladders. Having a litter trained dog can be beneficial to allow the dog to "go potty" whenever they need to. This is helpful when you are at work and cannot let the dog outside.
